WarmFörm Tip: Supporting a door sill at the slab edge

A common question we receive: how do you support a door sill on top of the foam edge of the perimeter elements?

Typically you will want to insert some treated wood blocking at the slab edge which will come almost all the way to the finished cement face of the WarmFörm edge element. To insert the wood here you have to carve away the foam to make a place for the treated wood to sit, and this treated wood blocking should have anchor bolts extending into the slab to hold the wood solidly in place.
